Jocelyn Fafard painter
 

Born in the mining town of Thetford Mines, he has lived in Quebec City for several years,

 In 1984, he enrolled in observational drawing and visual arts studies at the Cégep de Thetford-Mines and color studies at the Moulin des arts in St-Etienne. He then continued his work with artist friends at the Appalachian Region Art Center where he set up his studio.

He then began to exhibit his works in groups and solo and to participate in numerous symposia. Over the years, his works have earned him several prizes and mentions, including a 2nd prize in figurative art at the “AAPARS Fall Competition” in St-Bruno-de-Montarville and an honorable mention at the “National Painting Competition”. of Baie-St-Paul''.

His works are part of private and public collections including that of the City of Thetford Mines.
