Jocelyn Fafard painter

Mainly self-taught, I draw my knowledge from various artistic publications and from visiting museums and art galleries. After experimenting with different mediums, acrylic is the one I prefer and which I now use with a style that we call: “retro-contemporary”.

An inveterate explorer, I am always looking for new challenges.

My painting is intended to be figurative, close to hyperrealism. My main subject, automobiles, allows me to use my experiences and my knowledge in both drawing and painting.

Composition, light, shadow, reflections, textures constitute for me a new adventure that I tell you through my works.
